If it did come from a movie, it&#039;s gotta be one of those you named. Good detective work with the &#039;click&#039; and the &#039;crack.&#039;</description>

I&#039;m going with either Eight Men Out or the Natural. The click of the bat makes me think it was  a quote from an early era.  In the modern era people would say the crack of the bat.  I also think it may have been said in the documentary When It Was A Game in a reference to Ty Cobb. I&#039;m probably wrong on all fronts but for some reason I remember that quote as well.</description>
